 Much Better Sleep |

My wife often complained about by snoring. There appeared little I could do other than sleeping in the guest room. Then, after I communicated her complaints to my primary physician, I underwent a sleep test. Suddenly the problem became clear. According to the doctor, I was getting very little sleep and my health was deteriorating.
In the test they found that I awakened about three hundred times during the night. They explained that when I became relaxed my Uvula relaxed and closed off my trachea. When I would stop breathing my system would awaken me enough that I could take a breath, but not fully awaken. Since it was happening over three hundred times each night, I was getting little REM sleep.
So I found Breathe Right strips. I do not understand the technology, but somehow I no longer snore and I get better sleep. I strongly recommend these to anyone who snores, and even people who are tired all the time - maybe you do not know you have a problem, I didn't. Personally, I intend to use these little marvels every night.
BTW: Many months later, my physicians ordered a CPAP machine for me to use while sleeping. With the combination of CPAP and Breathe Right, my sleep has improved greatly and my health has improved.

I have been using these things for a couple years. I discovered the Amazon subscription program about 6 months ago and I have been greatly pleased. The price is cheaper than in any drug or grocery store and it comes to my door without me having to order it.
If I don't put one of these little guys on before I go to bed, I get a happy, little nudge from the wife telling me to put it on or go sleep in the guest room. |
Clear vs. tan?

| The clear Breathe-Right strips are as effective as the original tan ones (i.e. very effective) but are much easier to remove: a little warm water and they pop off. A big improvement over the tan ones, which have to coaxed off with soap and water. |

These clear nasal strips improve the airflow when applied.
They might help for better sleep, more oxygen in general (for sports or illnesses) or to reduce snoring.
They can be easily put across the nose in the correct place (instructins included). Removal with water is easy. Rarely some skin irritations (red skin) might be possible for sensitive skin.
They improve airflow signficantly. Therefore, they reduce snoring significantly. It does not necessarily remove all snoring effects depending on your symptoms. Check out the "British Snoring & Sleep Apnoea Association" to find out which products suits your needs best to improve or remove snoring.
For me these strips together with the mouth piece "snore no more" completely stops all snoring. |

| I have been using Breathe Rights for about 5 years, but I could only wear them for 2 or 3 nights in a row before the skin on my nose would break out. No really Breathe Rights fault that I have sensitive skin - but it made it inconvenient to say the least. I had recently become aware of the Clear Strips and looked all over for them at the local big box and drug stores. Couldn't find them and was considering contacting the company when these became available on amazon. They arrived within 3 days and I have used them everyday without any indication of skin reactions. These are so much better than having the wife poke me in the ribs due to my snoring! |

This one at the time of this review is just a bit better priced than the others before the subscription.
I figured that it costs just a little over a hundred dollars a year to use these every night. They flare out the sinuses enough to help one breathe at night and that makes them worth it. Certainly there's a high margin on them and I look forward to better prices someday, but one can't put a price on better sleep.
They will help with prevention of snoring and apnea at least to some extent and for some people might make a very big difference. I find they help.

Wow, easy to apply and easy to take off.
I don't use these every night, but you can feel the ease of breathing IMMEDIATELY. The packaging mentions like a 20-30% improvement in breathing, which doesn't sound like a lot, but trust me, it is.
The price is fantastic, and the fact that this particular model is clear makes me feel a lot less like a GOON in bed with my wife and she's mentioned that she hears less snoring as well. I mean, what could be better than sleeping peacefully, not snoring and not feeling like a GOON in bed? :)
The packaging feels a lot like a bandaide you apply to your nose. If you've never used these - it's not brain surgery. Essentially, there's a type of strong support that when applied with a strong adhesive causes your nostrils to separate a little bit. There's also a bit (a tiny bit, non-intrusive) of menthol that aids in breathing.
I don't know how else to put it besides being an answer to prayer! Spray has caused me a bit of a nasty backwash, sleeping pills leave me feeling groggy, but this thing is just plain perfect. |

I've been using breathe right (and the CVS brand analogues) for a couple of years and they are incredible. I broke my nose in fourth grade and have suffered from a deviated septum for the past 10 years. After applying a strip I can finally breathe through my nose and it feels wonderful. I've battled insomnia from infancy and these certainly help me go to sleep. As a word of caution, if it's warm, the strips may come off your nose in the night (I might actually be tearing them off because they can be uncomfortable if you don't apply them properly) and end up on pillows or blankets.
I use the large strips as I have a large nose, but my small nosed girlfriend has no problem using the large ones by placing them higher up her nose and at an angle.
Other thoughts: If you want to see sparks fly, open the individual packaging in the dark. |

Breath Right strips help you to breath properly at night or during sports events. If you find yourself breathing with an open mouth or your significant other complains that you snore at night, try Breath Right strips.
I've used the "Large, Clear" strips for years and they really work! Place a small piece of tissue in the center of the strip before applying so that they are easier to remove. |

| I have been using them for many years, finally i am writing a review with hope this product will never be discontinue. It is a great product. i use it because i have a light nasal deviation that makes it more difficult to breath during the night. With these stripes, no problem. In fact when more people in my family tried them, they also started using them. the only bad thing is that they are way too expensive!!!! my mother does actually re-use them more than one night) |

Love the product overall, only trouble with it is if I moisturize after washing my face the adhesive won't stick (makes sense, just a pain is all), that and more than once Ive lost one in my sleep and found it stuck to some random part of my body in the shower...lol.
All that being said the difference between having one on and not is incredible. it makes me wish I could wear one everywhere I go all the time. |

The product does help. I have used the small/medium and the large. Both sizes worked but for me the large was a better fit. It took some practice getting the strip equally on either side of my nose. A mirror is helpful.
I told my doctor I was using them and he approved saying that the strips did improve air flow and that if they seemed to help my sleep then continue using them.

| After having a lot of trouble at night with my girlfriend because of my snoring I start to use the Nasal Strips. They work fine for me for at least 4 weeks. But there are some disadvantages why I no longer use them. The first thing is that you have to place the strip very very accurate to get a good breath effect. The second thing is the kind of pain by detaching the strips. The third thing are the costs for always buying new strips. But the most disadvantage for me is that you look very dumb when you are wearing the Nasal Strip. At this time I use the so called "Snore Stopper" buying from Amazon. Its one little silicon spiral which you can put in your nose during nighttime. They are far ahead in enhancing your breathe at night. You wear them inside your nares and so they look much more unobtrusive. You only pay once and can use them for years. You also can put them in a dishwasher for cleaning. In every pack there are 2 snore stops. So I leave one at my girlfriends home and one at my home. My girlfriend say that the strips was good but the Snore Stopper are a dream.. So my sleep at night works much better for me and finally these little piece had been saving my relationship with the love of my life. Sorry for my bad english...There are a few products with the same name. I've now twice ordered the Breathe Right Nasal Strips, Large, Clear. Both orders were shipped very quickly. Unfortunately, both times I received the tan strips, rather than clear. The color really isn't the issue. However, the clear strips are for sensitive skin, and the adhesive on the tan strips is way too irritating for my household.
I would never have placed the second order if I'd known it was the same seller. The order and packing slip name the seller as "Potential Dynamix LLC", but the product info page that comes up when searching for the product calls the seller "DAB Nutrution." I don't know if they are doing this to be deliberately misleading, but it is very confusing. Since Amazon fulfills the orders, I don't even know if the problem is the seller's or if it's Amazon's. Two boxes of strips are packaged together in a pouch. The label on the pouch has the same product number that is shown on the packing slip, but no product description.
Guess I'll just return the latest shipment, and look elsewhere for the correct product. It's too bad because the prices is great, and keeps being lowered. However, if they can't ship the right product good price and fast shipping are meaningless. |
