Good product at a great price.
If you take an antihistamine such a Benadryl this is a much cheaper
alternative. The pills are very small and easy to swallow.

| Diphenhydramine HCl is an excellent sleep aid and overall allergy relief medication. Safe to use and the Kirkland price is the best online that I've found. | good price for the quantity, works just as good as the brand name, Benadryl. I know because I bought the biggest pack at the store (~50 count) for around $15. I never could take more because I always wanted to make it last. But with a 400 count bottle I can take more, which is what I need and still know I'll have plenty for the allergy season, (spring, summer) |

| Everyone should look at ingredients in named brand products. This is a great product that works just as well as any named brand. If you want pain relief and something to help you sleep, why buy a combination that is sold at a much higher price? Just buy generic pain reliever and this product. You save money and get the same results. |

| Buy this product from one of the third party vendors here on Amazon and even with shipping, you get 400 pills for about the price of 24 pills at your local drug store. ALWAYS look for or ask about the expiration date on products like this sold on line. I bought this on June 4, 2010 and the experation date is in the year 2012, so I will use them well in advance of the expiration date. GREAT VALUE!!! |

I purchased these a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier. They work just as well as the name brands.
Out of all the antihistamines I've tried, Diphenhydramine is the most effective and my favorite.
The only drawback is the first couple of days you take it it will make you sleepy. This effect doesn't last long and after 3 days its like using the non-drowsy formulas except Diphenhydramine actually works! Only drawback is the frequency you have to take it, every 4 hr to 6 hrs. Its too bad they don't make a extended release, otherwise it'd be perfect for my allergies.
Those of you looking into this product as a regular use sleep aid, look elsewhere. Tolerance builds fast and it will no longer put you to sleep after 3 days unless you take high doses [NOT RECOMMENDED!]. I recommend Doxylamine as a sleep aid, its more powerful than some prescription drugs!
