| My insurance company stopped paying for my Allegra and I was forced to buy OTC Zyrtec or Claritin. The Claritin didn't work and the Zyrtec was too expensive. Since I have chronic allergies to dust, grass, and mold, I need to take something all year long. One box of this product will last me an entire year and you can't beat that! I take this with a generic chlor-trimeton (Chlorpheniramine Maleate) that I purchased from Amazon.com and my allergies are under control and I haven't had any side affects. I am so thankful to have found these and they work! |

This generic version of Zyrtec is just as good as the more expensive
over-the-counter product sold in drugstores and department stores.
It was shipped to me very quickly and gave me almost a year's supply
for what I would have paid for a 20 day supply in the stores.
This is a great vendor and using this product just makes fiscal as
well as medical sense. |

I have been taking Zyrtec for a little over a year and recently decided to purchase generic version as there is a huge cost difference. I have several bad allergies, one of which being to cats (which i have two of) so constant presence of allergens is something I deal with daily.
I started taking the Cetirizine after taking the last of my regular Zyrtec and noticed no difference at all, as with most allergy medicines its best to take one daily to cover the 24hr span that it works, rather then taking it as needed when the allergies present themselves. This product is great, cost a fraction of the price of the name brand and will last me a very long time. |

I got this a year ago, and just ordered another 350 count. I have been taking Zyrtec daily for over 20 year, that is, I once tried to live without for 6 months, and for about 5 years (while living in England), I used a generic version. Last year, when generics were made available here in the US, I purchased this, mainly because it was cheap. I didn't know much about generic medicine, but having used it before, I had no problems with it.
These pills worked just as well on me as Zyrtec does. It staggers the overactive glands in my throat, and help me ease the issues with sneezing and sore eyes in summer (I also use Pulmicort and eyedrops, allergic to grass). These pills were made in India, and that scared me some in the beginning, but after having used them for a year, and having no relapses, I have ordered them for another year. If nothing has changed with the formula, I will be able to be symptom free for another year. I love'm! |
Excellent product at a fraction of the cost!

First, the order was shipped promptly and what I received was exactly as advertised.
More important, how can you not say that getting a year's supply for about the same price of a month's supply of brand name Zyrtec is not a great value.

On a whim found these here, and thought "For the price, will try them, but was not too hopeful..." Well, these seem to work the same as the other generics we have purchased...for half the price! Well worth it...and when you throw in free shipping and no tax, it's even more of a bargain! We definitely will continue to purchase these as long as they are available... |

| Cetirizine is the generic of Zyrtec. They are the same thing. They can cause drowsiness just as any allergy medication can. These new ones like Zyrtec and Claritin are much less sedating than older ones like Benadryl. This medication works 24 hours so if you find it sedating, just take it in the evening before bed. This is such a great price on Cetirizine. I have previously bought mine at Walgreens. The generic is at least this price for 30 count at most drug stores. Great Value! |

Unlike generic drugs that are carried at a small markdown at the big drug chain stores, this product is sold at a far greater discount. The quality of production and packaging are equivalent to Zyrtec's. A real bargain. |

a good choice for allergies
|
| Review Date: October 30, 2009 |
| Reviewer: goose, homewood, IL |
| zyrtec does indeed help your allergies well. The only drawback is some slight drowsiness. It does beat benadryll though. Not only does it help more but it makes you less drowsy. The only issue with this is that it costs more than other allergy remedies. zyrtec is the strongest over the counter allergy remedy which is the main justification for the cost. About the expiration dates on these. All drugs and most food is acutally good after the expiration date. In a sealed package this product will work well at least a couple years after it expires. The easiest way to think about expirations for drugs is the half life example for radioactive isotopes. A half life is a lenght of time it takes for half of the radioactive isotopes to become benine. This continues more or less to infinity since halves can be divided into halves for infinity. In drugs if an expiration date is 100% accurate which they are not then the durg simply becomes less and less potent over time until it does nothing more than act as a placebo in the end which technically is still better than nothing as the makers of claritin know all too well. anyhow one knows when your pill is truly expired when you take it and it dosent work for you and it dosent make you the least bit tired. untill then its not expired. anyway for more information on placebos and claritin look for my review on that product as well. |

Isn't Quite Up to Zyrtec
|
| Review Date: November 15, 2009 |
| Reviewer: L. Graves Jr., |
| First off... the product is as advertised. Since it's missing from the available product information on line, I'll point out that they are manufactured in India by Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (if that is important to you). Based on a couple of week's use, I will add that the effectiveness of the product falls off toward the end of the 24-hour dosage cycle, probably due to a less robust time-release technology in the generics. And if you're a pill cutter (the whole 10mg pill puts me to sleep) - be advised that these are round pills, unlike the squared oval of Zyrtec - and they would be easier to cut if they weren't less dense and were pre-scored. Expect a lot of uneven "halves". Is it worth the huge savings? Only you can make that decision. |

| As a physician, I know that most generics are fairly bio-equivalent. This brand certainly is not. Yes, it works OK, but nothing like the brand name. If your allergies are not too severe, this should work fine, but if they are moderate or severe, I might suggest another choice. |

| I purchased this product because I saw the reviews written by others. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience. It took 12 days before I even received the product and when it finally arrived I've noticed it just doesn't keep my allergies under control the way Zyrtec did. I realize the generic drugs are hit and miss depending on the person and I would have loved it had they worked and been delivered in a more timely manner, however I guess I will pay a little more and get fast service as well as medicine that will actually work for me. I will order Zyrtec in the future. |

This is a 350-day supply according to the label dosage (which is the same as Zyrtec), but it expires well before I could possibly use it for 350 days.
To their credit, Amazon did issue me a full refund when I complained.
It seems this has been sitting on someone's shelf way too long, and they aren't paying attention to expiration dates. |

I bought these obviously because of the amount of pills you get for the price. I must say in the past 3 weeks I been using them they don't seem to work as well as Zyrtec or even drug store generic brands I have used before like Rite-Aid and CVS . Usually with those once or twice a month I'd have a bad allergy attack despite using them daily. But with these Members Mark (Walmart brand)I seem to have an attack once or twice a week. So maybe they are not a potent or whatever I am not sure. I do know I won't be using them anymore and switch back to Zyrtec and other Drug store brands as they have worked better. Just have to keep an eye out for the best deals. I thought these were too good to be true and in my case it seems they were, almost a years supply for a few dollars more than 45 Zyrtec pills seemed crazy, but I guess you get what you pay for. I was never a fan of Walmart for various reasons and this just adds to it.
Your mileage may vary depending on how bad your allergies are. Try them see if they work for you, cheap enough to make me not worry about losing $20. |

| Fast shipping, good service but this allergy med is not for me: it may cause drowsiness despite being marketed by the company (not the seller) as non-drowsy, and in that vein, makes me sleep for 12-14 hours a day and feel all stoned and grody the 10-12 hours I'm awake. Wish I'd bought a smaller bottle :( |

| I was really excited to see almost a year's supply for under $20, but I have had little success with this generic. I know that by law, the main ingredient(s) has to be the same, as well as the way it acts on the body and in the same timeframe, etc., but something isn't right with this medication. I take it every morning, but it is as if I hadn't taken anything the entire day. I haven't tried going back to brand name Zyrtec yet, but it always worked for me in the past! |

| I was excited when my dr told me that I would be able to save money buying the generic Zyrtec at Sam's. I am on Zyrtec daily due to really bad allergies. I took this medicine at bedtime. In the middle of the night, I woke up scratching like my skin was on fire! When I turned on the light, I was covered in hives all over my body! I hadn't changed any soaps or lotions, so the only thing I could think of that caused the hives was this Member's Mark Cetirizine that I bought at Sam's. I immediately bought the real Zyrtec the next morning and the hives begin to disappear. I tried the Member's Mark Cetirizine again this past weekend to see if it really caused the hives. Once again, I woke up in the middle of the night with my skin on fire and hives all over my body. I would definitely not recommend this medicine to anyone! |
