The Prid Salve has always been in our medicine cabinet as long as I can remember. I am now 70 years old. I can still remember my Father saying; all you need is some Prid Salve and some of the old white zink tape. You could heal any wound.
When my brother and I was roughhousing in the yard I split open his upper lip. Dad washed out the wound, applied some Prid Salve and some of the white zink tape. It healed up and never left a scar.
We would use it to draw out a sliver in our hand. Being on the farm one always had cuts, splinters and who knows what.
I was so glad to see I was able to order the salve after trying several local drug stores.
Thanks for stocking the Prid Salve, it is truly a miracle salve.
Thank you.
Always works!

Reviewer: E. A. Jones,
I've been using Smile's Prid for nearly 20 years, ever since I stumbled across a few cans of it on the shelf of a local drug store. The packaging looked like something from 1899, so of course I was intrigued. I used it on an infected bug bite overnight by putting some on the wound and covering it with a band-aid, and the next morning was pleased to discover it had worked like a charm. It's created for small boils and other wounds which have pus that needs to be drawn out; it's much safer to let the infection come out on its own with Prid than it is to squeeze the wound. Prid draws the stuff out within a few hours, never stings, and a single can lasts forever. The consistency and color is a little off-putting, but it works so well that appearance doesn't matter. Just make sure you follow directions, and use with a bandage so the Prid doesn't get on your clothes.

The formula changed a few years ago to be "homeopathic" and it works just as well as the old formula did. The only difference appears to be in the consistency of the salve.

I absolutely love this stuff. It is good for many different minor skin irritations such as cuts, scrapes, boils, blisters, hang nails, irritated cuticles, acne etc. I purchased this to quickly heal up acne and it really did the trick. It won't work to prevent acne or stop it from happening. It will bring the pimple to a head much faster and allow the wound to heal after it has been popped with minimal to no scarring. Sometimes, it even seems to dissolve the acne with no painful pinching, poking or popping! I've also used this on blackheads with great success.
Its a miricle.....

Reviewer: Skittlez,
Thank you God for this. I am a african american woman who tends to get really severe boils under and around my large breasts and arms for the last 5 years. I go to the hospital like 5 times a year because they become so big. I just had to take a week off of work because I couldnt stand up straight and it would not come to a head so I had to go to the emergency room because I had a fever too. I HAVE BEEN TO MANY DOCTORS, DERMOTOLOGISTS, AND SPECIALISTS OVER THE YEARS and NONE have ever prescribed this product to me. I was presribed hibeclens which I use in the shower and countless antibiotics but they never help. The boils continue to reoccur. The doctors can not tell my why and I tested negative for MRSA or Staph infection. Anyway, this time I actually told a co-worker who badgered me until I told her what was wrong. She told me to pick up some prid and that I will not regret it. I went to Walmart and picked one up for less than $5. Fastforward a week later and I have combated 3 of those suckers within 24 hours of them feeling hard!!!! HOOOORRAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! Can this really be true? It is NOT PAINFUL! Follow the instructions. WHY HAVE THE DOCTORS NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT THIS?! I feel like I have been given a gift. This is a must have and I had to share my experience with you. THIS STUFF WORKS
GREAT STUFF!!

I was a skeptic who bought this salve out of desperation. I had a rose thorn deeply imbedded in my thumb & could not get it out. After 2 weeks of waiting for the thorn to work its way out, I realized the skin had healed over the thorn & it wasn't going anywhere.

I faithfully put this salve over the thorn twice a day & covered it with a bandaid. At the end of the second day, it was still imbedded & I thought "what a waste of money". I then pressed to one side of the thorn & to my amazement it slid right out with no pain whatsoever!

I am sold! Everyone should keep this salve in their medicine cabinet. No more digging for slivers now!
The best kept secret!

Prid drawing salve is the best product in it's category hands down!!! I have been using this for years and the new formula is just as good as the old one . I highly recommend this salve to treat minor cuts and scrapes. The price was a great deal and I will be ordering more. I had a slight problem , but the seller quickly fixed it ( it used to say 20g and the tins were actually 18g) by sending me a free one to make up the difference.
Amazing Product & family non-toxic heirloom

I learned about PRID as a child from my grandmother - that was back in the 1950s. She had used it for many years. It is THE BEST for drawing boils and abscesses, drawing out splinters, and taking the poison out of insect bites.

As an example, I've been bitten twice by Brown Recluse Spiders. The first time I did not realize what had happened. You may have seen images on the internet ... that is what I went though with my leg.

The second time it happened, I saw the little monster, and immediately slapped a glob of PRID on the bite and covered it with a band-aid. The next day there was nothing but a tiny red spot; no horrible wound ever developed, no pain, no scar.

The little tin lasts almost forever; I've bought maybe five of them in fifty-plus years ... and I would never be without it.

I was told about prid by an old farm guy. It's been in my medicine cabinet and first aid kit for 20 years now and i've gone through a dozen cans of it between my family and myself. I tried it out on a bee sting as i'm allergic and usually have to go to the doctor. cured it in 2 days and no sign of the bite. i've stepped on a rusty nail a couple of times. first time, the doctor prescribed 3 weeks of anti biotics to get the red swelling to go away. the second time I used prid. the infection and red swelling was gone in 3 days.

just recently, may 2010, just got bit by a big nasty brown recluse spider on my calf. i didn't know what exactly the wound was until a day later and my flesh was rotting and looked like every other image you've seen of a recluse bite. red, pussy, swollen, painful. I put a gob of prid on the band aid and changed the band aid 2 to 3 times a day. eventually i had to use a non-stick gauze as i didnt' think the band aid was big enough. i like to use an ample amount on this bite. it's 5 days later and i'm winning the battle. yes, the bite is there but it is getting less red and less severe every day. i've had none to very little pain and no other symptoms during since i've used the prid.

Your doctor will never tell you about this stuff and i have no idea why. i suspect the pharmaceutical companies dont make enough money from people using prid so it's not talked about. this stuff is a miracle cure for any insect bite and at least the sort of infections i've had. I cannot recommend this product more highly. amazing stuff.

Never Received The Order!

Reviewer: Delovely,
I am not rating the product because I never received it, even after numerous e-mails attempts. I see the good rating for the product that was the reason why I ordered from American Wholesale, never again! What a horrible experience! Just because of them I have become very cautious about ordering online again!
