| I love this fragrance! I own many of the Ralph Lauren fragarance line including Romance, Lauren, and Ralph Lauren Style. I love fresh smelling, floral perfumes (nothing too strong of rose though). This is wonderful, fun addition to my collection. I've never smelled anything quite like this--it has top notes of grapefruit, passionfruit, and tangerine almost. This is the perfect fragrance to wear on a warm spring or summer day. I probably wouldn't pick this fragarance for an evening out but its a great, fun scent to wear to the office or out all day. It just starts smelling better on your skin as the day wears on. I'm over 40 and I don't think this is particularly a "young" fragrance--it would smell great on almost anyone. |

Nothing else compares to this, for me. I get so many compliments! I had one coworker once, who would walk by me just so he could smell it. He told me what he was doing, of course, he just loved the smell. People want to know what I am wearing and where they can purchase it. | I have a habit of stopping by perfume counters way too often, and have a fair collection to show for it. However, about a year and a half ago I came across Blue. I had done my usual trick of not wearing any perfume to the mall, then stopping by to sample a scent or two, then wander around to do my shopping..this way I can tell what the scent is like on me after a bit of time. Blue had me hooked immediately. It has now become my absolute scent of choice...I have had complete strangers, both men and women literally stop me in the grocery store, at the mall, at work, EVERYWHERE just to ask me what I am wearing. It is light, not overpowering...I am not a fan of the heavy florals, and so this is ideal for me. I personally love it, but the staggering amount of compliments from friends and total strangers alike has confirmed that this perfume is beautiful, light, elegant and fresh, and yet most definitely makes a statement. I cannot recommend this highly enough...just try it on for the day the next time you go to a department store. I can virtually guarantee that you will head back to pick some up...it is truly that lovely. |

| When I learned my wife was almost out of this perfume I decided to buy her some as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. Maybe it's just me but when I checked Amazon one day it listed an ordinary price. Then I searched the web for better pricing and found it cheaper. When I went back to Amazon the next day for something else, I found they LOWERED the price. So either Amazon is price matching everyday, or they have a way of knowing what you're searching the web for and putting a better deal in front of you. The latter being VERY spooky. In the end, they had the best price with free shipping, and items always arrive quickly. All I can say is, if I ever find a hole in my underwear and on my next visit to Amazon they recommend new underwear before I even do a search, the computer goes into the dumpster. |

| I first bought a bottle while on vacation in London and every single time I put it on, I'm reminded of that trip. Like the other reviewers, when I've wearing Blue, I'm constantly stopped and approached by strangers who want to know what scent I've got on. I think the funniest incident was in a cab in Manhattan--the driver was on his cell phone and suddenly stopped talking, turned around, and asked me what perfume I was wearing. He even had me write it down so that he could take it to the store and buy it for his girlfriend! It's true that Blue does smell different on everyone. I know a few women who claim that their body chemistries didn't work with it, but mine sure does. It's light, musky, and sexy. Not overpowering or sweet...lovely. |

| There are very few perfumes that I can wear that don't make me sneeze. Lauren Blue is my absolute favorite scent. Lauren Blue is light and fresh. When I wear it I don't feel overpowered by the scent and I don't have people around me complaining about how strong it is. I checked all the department store and specialty store prices and found

I have been wearing ralph lauren blue ever since my ex bought it for me for Christmas three years ago. This would be my third 4.2 oz bottle of it! I have tried finding a new scent to call my own, but I keep coming back to Blue. I use other scents when I am in the mood for a change, but this is MY smell. One of my best friends won't even buy it because it seems like my smell :)
Its so unique, I haven't smellt any other perfume like it before.
Not too flowery and not sweet. But somehow, YUMMY! :) Which is why my ex adored it more than any other smell!
Its one of those smells that makes a statement. I've had random people ask me what I am wearing or tell me I smell amazing. (even from feet behind). At the same time it is never overpowering nor headache giving. Even when I'm drenched in it, its somehow never TOO much.
Its almost like the smell of the ocean or something. Give it a chance. Chances are you will love it. All my friends of all ages seem to think it smells good.
(oh and the bottle is SOO beautiful! Blue glass and a silver top)

| I am one of those individuals who cannot wear any scent I may be drawn to because most give me headaches. Of the few I can wear this is one of my favorite! It is light and subtle, not powdery, and not overbearing so that someone needs to be right next to you to beaware of your fragrance. There is nothing worse, in my opinion, than to be overwhelmed by someone else's scent. I even wear this when I'm staying-in because I enjoy the fragrance that much. My only criticism and reason for 4*'s vs. 5, is that the scent does not stick around long enough. I find myself reapplying once (at least) a day. They need a body oil or lotion. I haven't tried the gel yet but maybe layering it with that would help it last. |

| Love Ralph Lauren Blue! I had a small sample of it some time ago and was looking forward to owning it. My only mistake was in purchasing the EDT version. I think the parfum would have been a better choice for me, as it is longer lasting. When I purchase again, that will be my choice. Blue is one of my all time favorites. |

| This is one of my sister's favorite scents, so when I was offered a free sample, I took it. Ralph is definitely a nice fragrance: cool, fresh, slightly flirty...a very light and clean perfume, which is probably why I won't buy a full bottle, as I tend to prefer deeper, bolder scents. However, if you're a fan of light and airy perfume, this is definitely one of the nicest brands I've ever encountered. It has decent staying power, too, which is always a plus. |

| I only bought this perfume because I was running low on a tiny bottle I bought at Zephora. I loved that little bottle it smells so sweet and delicious. But this one I bought through Amazon was slightly different on the scent. It's supposed to be the same fragrance but I could smell the slight difference. I made sure it was the same name and brand on the bottle. The only difference between them was that the Zephora bottle had little butterflies on the cap. Don't get me wrong it smells good but its a slight different from the Zephora one. And personally I like the Zephora one better. |

| Well guys, I hate to be the first one to give this perfume a less-than-perfect score, but in all honesty I was disappointed in it. I've never met a Ralph Lauren scent I didn't like, so I bought it "scent un-smelled" online, fully expecting to love it. Perfumes certainly don't smell alike on everyone, so I suppose I'm just one of those women who's body chemistry does nothing for this fragrance. Also, I tend to like perfumes with a bit more of a soft floral note in them, and while I do smell the gardenia mentioned in an earlier review I find that it's overpowered by musk. Of the "suntan oils and tropical notes" mentioned in earlier reviews I can find none. To be honest, I find this to be a rather masculine scent, and in fact have had my sister ask me if I was wearing men's cologne!;-). This fragrance is not so awful that I will not finish off the bottle(it was a bit pricey), but I won't be purchasing it again. |

| I've purchased this particular perfume at department stores for a few years now since the fragrance smells great (fresh, doesn't make you want to sneeze), and decided to get it from Amazon since it was cheaper. It doesn't smell exactly like the one in stores (although it smells similar), which makes me think it could be fake (or watered down??). The perfume fades quickly which is strange since I've only needed a spray or two of this perfume in the past, and it stays on for a long time. I wouldn't buy this from Amazon again, and wouldn't recommend anyone buy this from Amazon. |

| I've been wearing this perfume since 2003 and the product that I purchased from Aromadiscount is not the same product that I'd buy in the mall. The smell is off and the perfume inside the bottle has a yellow color to it. I heard that this perfume is being discountinued and at Christmas time some department stores were not even stocking it. So I figured I'd buy 2 bottles to have for the future. I'm very disappointed in this purchase. It's a total knock-off. It doesn't even deserve to get 1 star. |

| Very disappointed with this product. It came sealed in a box from Perfumania but the silver cap was tarnished and the smell was very faint. I have no explanation for this but I know the cap should not have looked like that and I know the scent should have lasted longer as I have used this perfume. Trying to contact the seller was an adventure in frustration.You contact Customer Service, they write back, signing it Customer Service, like you are not speaking to a live person, and they insist you call them to discuss it. I guess the lengthy e mail was not enough. Luckily, Amazon stood behind the consumer and refunded my money and I did not have to deal with the seller. |

I ordered two bottles of Ralph Lauren Blue and I kept one and my daughter has the other, we both agree that it does not compare to our first purchases of the same fragrance from a retail store. The smell does not compare. These two bottles I ordered from Amazon smell very weak and the fragrance is only there a very short time. We're both disappointed.
We also don't understand why the bottles came unboxed. |

Counterfeit!!!!!

| I bought this as a Mother's Day gift for my mother. She just now (Sept 2nd) informed me that this product was a counterfeit. She said it started to lose it's fragrance after a month. She wrote to Ralph Lauren and was told to return it. Of course, since it was a gift, she couldn't do that. She then talked to a local merchant that carried the product and was told to bring it in. It was at that local merchant that she was informed the product was a counterfeit. So, I'm out the money and she's out the gift. She was also informed that counterfeit fragrances can have dangerous chemicals. I would not have expected this from Amazon. Guess no place is safe to shop these days. |

| We never received this product. I suppose it was lost in the mail and now if we want it we will have to go to the post office (imagine going to the post office at this time of the year, and have them research it. Knowing our postal service, this will create more of a mess then the product is worth. At this point, we both agree that ordering anything thru Amazon is not reliable and we probably will not use your service again. I think it is better to go to a store and have the product in our hands when we leave. |

| I have worked with two women who have worn this perfume, and frankly, I can't stand the smell of it. It doesn't even smell like perfume, it is like some bizarre animal musk. There are no floral notes, and no woodsy notes, either; nothing clean or fresh or pleasant. I wish this perfume didn't exist---I hate it. |
