Good Vitamins

I really like that there is a multivitamin for toddlers that doesn't contain "junk." The DHA is a plus. My kid actually likes the taste of this so I don't even have to smuggle it into his sippy cup.
yummy!

i hate the regular iron drops that taste like metal. these drops are still vitamin-tasting, but my daughter tolerates them way better that the other drops available. they have a citrus taste and even have DHA. thanks Dr. Greene!
Alright taste, pretty good ingredients

Of all the kids' vitamins out there (that I've looked at, at least), this one's ingredients are pretty good (especially the DHA and there are no artificial sweeteners). My son was not that wild about the taste (citrus, a little tart), but it could easily be mixed into something.
Toddler multi-vitamins with DHA

I've been looking for a toddler multi-vitamin without added sugar or sugar substitute or excessive dyes--something basic like the infant/baby multi-vitamin drops that are chewable or in liquid form, & something affordable. This product is the only toddler multi-vitamins that I have found so far. &, it comes with DHA. It looks a lot like orange juice. I tried just a drop--it doesn't taste the best, but then, neither did the infant/baby vitamin drops. It is a bit on the sour side. My son mentioned the sourness when he first started taking them, but has gotten used to it & accepts his daily dose. The only thing I really don't like, which is why I give this product 4 stars instead of 5, is that it doesn't have a child safety cap like the infant/baby vitamin drops or adult multi-vitamins have. Despite this, it seems to be working well for us. Also, getting this product through Amazon.com is a lot cheaper than getting it at my local supplement shop.
Good ingredients, HORRIBLE taste/smell

I was looking for a vitamin for my toddler that included DHA and found this by Dr. Greene, a name I respect. Well, these vitamins meet the mark on everything I wanted in nutrition/supplements; however, the taste and smell are awful! I cannot get my toddler to take these drops whatsoever. I've mixed them in yogurt, juice, milk, and even ice cream. They are terrible. I've tried breaking down the dose so I can give her a little at a time, several times a day. She even notices an amount as small as 3 drops, which is a fraction of the daily dose. I tried to get my 8 year old to take them with no luck. I even tried them myself. Yuck! They're about the color and consistency of orange juice, but very oily so they float on top of other liquids. The smell and taste are just impossible to overcome.
