This is one of the most stylish humidifiers out there and I got it mainly for its aesthetics. It is great for light humidifying for a small room and the aroma sample that comes in the package is pleasant smelling. The light transitions smoothly from color to color and is really pretty. Maybe it's just me but it also makes a comforting butterfly-like pattern on the ceiling when the lights are off. I think it would be great in a child's room as it can serve as a night light in a way!
Excellent if you clean after each use

Reviewer: C. Hayes,
Excellent one-of-a-kind product.
I've researched many and used a few diffuser and this is the best. Probably the only one at the top without some serious problem.
I followed the instructions (you HAVE to do that) and it works perfectly every time.
HOWEVER...you must thoroughly clean the unit after every use.
You cannot leave anything in the unit overnight...it will gum up the works.
Sadly, we'll have to wait for some new alien technology to totally revolutionize diffusers to avoid this. What this thing does is use an ultrasonic pad to turn the liquid into mist, which will leave a residue. I'm not going to try it but I'm sure performance would degrade rapidly if it were not cleaned until such time as it stops working (weeks? no more than a month).
Also...it's not easy to clean...they didn't design it to be easy to clean. I have larger ultrasonic humidifiers which are easy to clean. This one is so tiny it's hard to get to all the crevices.
On the box it says it is a humidifier/diffuser. Which is true. If you put nothing but distilled water in it, you could use it as a humidifier for a very small area and never clean it. So...following that logic, you could use any humidifier as a diffuser. Just put a few drops of essential oil and some water on the ultrasonic pad then put the water tank in place and turn it on.
Advice:
Don't put it next to something that emits heat ... it has a sensor and will shut itself off if it overheats.

I love my diffuser!! I use this product to diffuse my theraputic grade essential oils and I love it. I can let this run all night in my room with out any problems. If your looking for a humidifier to do a large room than you'll need to get something bigger. I just wanted an affordable way to diffuse my oils and let it run all night while I sleep and this works wonderfully!!! I also love that I save on my essential oils making this product the more affordable choice for me :) I hope this information is helpful to those who read it.
just make my sleep easier!

I recently bought this item online and it was perfect for what I needed. The aroma can be noticed from 3 rooms away. It isn't over-powering which is why I like it so much!! I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking to add a little life to their room!!
Great little diffuser

Reviewer: Caryn M. Hefferren,
I bought this because it looked just like the Young Living essential oil diffuser but 1/2 the cost. It works great. I liked it so much I bought one for my mom for her birthday and she loves it. Her sister just called wanting to know how she can get one, too. It's stylish, silent, compact, has the option of mood lighting, and delivers just the right amount of oils into the air (I used 5 drops of oil). I've had it for about 1 1/2 months and have used it regularly. I haven't cleaned it yet, although it's probably time. It doesn't look like it needs it so maybe that has something to do with the minerals in your water.
Great

Reviewer: Kathy Gortney,
My humidifier is used more for aromatherapy since I put it in a big room. It is easy to use and fill and infuses the scent with its misting throughout the house within a few minutes.

It arrived very fast and in a protective box.

I would recommend this more for aromatherapy than for use as a humidifier unless it is going to be used in a small room.
Great for Aromatherapy

I use this diffuser religiously every day. I've had it for a couple months and use 100% essential oils in it. My favorite is Lavender. It works great for a bedroom. I wouldn't use it for a living room or larger room. Its not too loud and it has some very pretty lighting that reflects on the ceiling and wall when dark. Very nice and soothing.
Great Product

After my search for a aroma therapy type diffuser, I chose the Westinghouse Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser. Besides the beauty of it, the price was right and shipping was very fast. Except for the fact I don't see the humidifiation capabilities of this diffuser, the product works as stated. Anyway I wouldn't buy something this small and expect any kind of real humidifying properties.

I purchased this aroma diffuser for using with essential oils. And this diffuser does just what I need it to do -- diffuse scents into the room. I like how it sends up a swirly mist, but its not wet so I don't have to worry about ruining any furniture. The diffuser itself is very pleasing to look at and the multi color lights that change continously are just an added bonus.

My biggest suggestion would be to follow the directions very carefully so as not to accidentally get any water into the outside housing of the unit. Other than that the Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser is very easy to use.
This is a great little item!

I bought this a few months back & use it regularly. It's quiet, very nice to look at when running (changes colors) and releases just the right amount of scent. You can set it to turn off in 30 minutes. It's very easy to take apart and clean. I would definitely recommend it!
Looks identical to the $98 version.

If you're looking for a twin to Young Living's newest ultrasonic home diffuser, it sure looks like you've found it. Pay over $98 from their (overpriced multi-level marketing) website, or scoot on over here to Amazon and pay less than half of that. My Young Living associate friend was told that this was their own exclusive design, but it doesn't look like that's so.

Regardless-- If you'd like to see details on how this diffuser/humidifier looks and works, view YL's Youtube video (Search for 2H3GYVElECA) to see it in action. Looks like you need to clean it each time you use it, which is why I'll be hunting down a Fan Fuser diffuser instead. I don't want to be forgetting to clean it and then have it stop working on me!

Diffusers are a great way to fill your home with the health and emotional benefits of essential oils. I diffuse different oils to help us fight colds and other diseases, ease the kids to sleep, energize ourselves, and just plain make the house smell good. I love my oils!

Once I figured out how to put the water in. Duh! Enjoy using it. I must use more of my theraputic oils to get the scent I am looking for.
Good for a small room

Reviewer: C. Price,
I have this unit located in my bedroom which replaced a Pearlessence diffuser. The unit is much quieter than the other, but I think as far as scent is concerned the Pearlessence worked a bit better. It does have some new features that I like more like the 30 second timer, water reservoir, and a on /off switch located on front of the unit. I have solved the scent problem by adding just a few more drops of oil.
Not a humidifier

This machine does a good job of diffusing your chosen oil, but this is NOT a humidifier, as it is so advertised. I thought I was purchasing a humidifier plus an aromatherapy device- no. Also, make sure you realize its small size, and that it leaks. According to the directions, it is supposed to leak, so be warned.
Stops working in less than a month

This item is cute, shows pretty lights and for about a month of light, intermittant use it puffs a little moisture. I used it for less than a month and noticed it only worked part time, then eventually stopped producing any moisture, just pretty lights, somethimes. If you want an expensive night light, I guess you can spend the money, but the unit is not worth the money as a room humidifier.

Reviewer: D. Browne,
This product is a waste of money. If you have an extra $40+ dollars lying around the house that you're just dying to throw away, buy a couple lotto tickets because your chances of winning will be greater than the chance you'll be even close to be satisfied with this piece of junk. (Visible mist can spread aroma scent in rooms of approximately 400 Sq. Ft.) The first day of use I did see some sort of mist. It could have been smoke, but since couldn't smell anything it might have been mist. (The manufacturer recommends using 3 drops of scented oil/eucalyptus/included.) If not for the pretty light you couldn't even tell it's working. If you put your nose right up it, then you may be able to smell it then but not from 400 sq feet. If my daughter hadn't thrown the box out it would be going right back to Amazon , so now I must lay it to rest with hopes that it will join it's box and instruction booklet in a landfill somewhere.
